HOTS

ANSWERS--

A. The narrator goes on to meet a lady. The lady appears to be very sophisticated and highly stylish but soon the narrator realizes that she spends a lot of money on food as she is a big foodie. She keeps ordering one dish after another soon the narrator becomes irritated because she does not end eating and the food was very expensive in the hotel. The narrator wanted the meeting to end as soon as possible.

B. The woman is the actual humorist in the story as she said that she never eats more than one thing on luncheon and keeps her diet balanced but instead of that she ordered a number of expensive things for her like salmon, caviare and champagne,  etc. So, the woman contributes to the actual humor in the story.
