1. (a) Those hands who has journeyed through life midway.

(b) These hands have cherished their sons.

(c) These hands are ornamented by purple and gold flecked grey bangles.

(d) These hands are very much essential for a child to be grown up. Every successful man are because of these hands. So, these hands are important in the development of human race.

2. (a) 'Her' refer to Brides.

(b) Two adjectives used by the poet to describe the bangles of the bride are--

2. hue

(c) I think 'Red' color would appropriately describe 'heart's desire' because this is tinkling, luminous, tender and clear.

(d) The poet has compared the bangles of the Indian bride to her laughter as well as her tearsBangles represent the happiness of the Indian bride because it is her marriage.... It also represents tears as she has to leave the house of her parents and move to her husband's house.
