A. Tommy is referring to the books as a waste. Tommy and Margie thought that the books were a waste as they did not move or run and stood still. Also, he thought that it was such a waste as they could not reuse it like they do it on their computers.

Tommy and Margie had computers, tele books and other such mechanical and robotic things as teachers and so they were surprised to see a human teacher.

Having human teachers is better than having a computer as a teacher as the children get to have a personal touch to their studies rather than making it a chore. All the children studied together in the school with human teachers. A human teacher will behave and act with a child according to the child's mindset and not mechanically.

B. Margie said that because at that period of time, there were only robotic/computer teachers. So, for her it was a new fact.

Now,

Advantages of having a computer teacher:

• In a small place huge amount of data is stored and can be accessed at the same time.
• It can be kept at home, so the person can take help from the teacher at any time.
• Enhanced and updated learning can be accessed all the time.

And, Disadvantages of having a computer teacher:

• Suppose, if anyone want to take the latest version of a computer teacher, then it would cost him/her a lot, i.e. it's very expensive.
• Real time communication, which is the one of the most integral part of Teaching-Learning Process, does not take place.
• Continuously studying from computer, will surely affect the person's eyes, which is not good at all.
